Temporary Residence is sold out of Ghetto Beats On The Surface Of The Sun CDs, but we still have some available for mailorder. Get it while the gettin's good.
Ghetto Beats LPs are still available from Music Fellowship. In fact, Daron's currently offering all 4 for $33 (aka crazy cheap).
We're working on a bunch of stuff at the moment:
A Live Edits disc will be out shortly on the UK's Type Records. A new label in Atlanta called Geographic North is releasing a Home Ruckus 7", and we're beginning work on a disc for Acuarela, another Live Edits record, and some soundtrack stuff.
We're headed to the Netherlands at the end of the month for the Dwars Festival and a recording session at VPRO, and we're playing a show in SF with Nadja on the 21st.

In addition to being the first 7" we've done in years, this is also the second installment in our ongoing Home Ruckus series. Like the first Home Ruckus LP, this material was recorded at home by us on various cassette tapes, hard drives, and whatever else was in arm's reach.
Ghetto Beats On The Surface Of The Sun Vol. 1
The first in a series of 4 LPs comprised of studio and home recordings from September '04 to April '05, "Ghetto Beats On The Surface Of The Sun" Vol. 1 isn't your grandma's Tarentel. One of the tracks might just eat your face, at least one of the others will make you want to wiggle your butt, and there's some other dirty stuff in there too, but we're not sure what that'll make you want to do.

The second volume in the "Ghetto Beats On The Surface Of The Sun" series is another helping of butt-shaking trash can style, but with a healthy dose of psychedelic fever wandering and blast off moon landing thrown in for good measure. Take your medicine!
Ghetto Beats On The Surface Of The Sun Vol. 3
Volume 3 in the "Ghetto Beats On The Surface Of The Sun" series begins with tremors. Orcs take off with the halflings, run for miles and miles, and then the power goes out. You wake up floating in space. After that, who knows what's real and what isn't?
Ghetto Beats On The Surface Of The Sun Vol. 4
The first half of the final installment in the "Ghetto Beats On The Surface Of The Sun" series is 100 degrees, half-naked, and sees spots. On the flipside, we get out the scissors, the tape, and a glue stick for an aural crafts project.

The first in an ongoing series of live releases ("live" in the same spirit that Herzog makes "documentaries"), "Live Edits: Natoma" was recorded at 964 Natoma (RIP) & the Space in January of 2005. The hand silk-screened covers come in eleven different color combinations!
